PLUMB — PLUMB — Business Banking Console · ALO Design Pros
Money, considered. Not gamified, not a terminal.
A working demo of ALO's LEDGER finance vertical on the CONCRETE register: a living ledger, an event-bus cascade, review-before-you-send with Confirmation-of-Payee, and a programmable-money rule builder. A fictional bank — no real institution, no real money moves.
PLUMB is the flagship of ALO's LEDGER vertical rail — money-truth, trust, and transaction encoded as tokens rather than left to per-page improvisation. Consumer fintech is a monoculture of bright and playful; wealth products are barbelled between gamified confetti and terminal overload; B2B is a field of indigo Stripe-clones floating a dashboard on an 8-degree mesh. PLUMB occupies the empty quadrant: dark, editorial, anti-gamified, calm. The build pairs LEDGER's semantic money axis — debit renders as neutral ink, never red; failure is the only red; nothing renders as color alone, every value carries sign, arrow, and text — with the CONCRETE register's Swiss precision, so the ledger, the tables, and the API surfaces read with zero translation loss between "the system is visible" and "the work is precise." The interface runs on a mock client-side ledger: a running-balance feed where every row shows the balance after it, an operating-balance monument that appears fully formed and never counts up, an event-bus cascade where one simulated purchase updates the balance, feed, and notification simultaneously, a review-before-you-send flow with a Confirmation-of-Payee tri-state and a submit button that states the action rather than a generic "Confirm," and a programmable-money rule builder that evaluates a plain-language Trigger → Condition → Action live. Restraint governs the transactional core; a dynamic, eclectic infographic layer carries the ALO signature elsewhere — the two never trade places.
PLUMB before the rebuild.
Consumer fintech is a monoculture of bright and playful; wealth is barbelled between gamified confetti and terminal overload; B2B is a field of indigo Stripe-clones floating a dashboard on an 8-degree mesh. The empty quadrant — dark, editorial, anti-gamified, calm — had no reference build proving ALO could hold trust through a transactional core without dropping its identity at the moment money moves.
Proof that money can feel considered — restraint in the interface, expression in the infographic, and never the two traded.
